Swiss Blues Challenge 2012 - Final in Sierre
The 4 selected bands will play live on Wednesday August 22, 2012 in Sierre, the day before the official opening of the Sierre Blues Festival
The Swiss Blues Challenge is a competition organised by Swiss Blues to select bands to represent Switzerland in the EBC (European Blues Challenge, organised by the EUB - European Blues Union), and also at the IBC (International Blues Challenge, organised in Memphis by the Blues Foundation)
The Swiss Blues Challenge is open to all Swiss bands, duos and solo musicians (the term „band“ here below covers all these different formations). The band will be considered as Swiss if 50% of the band is composed of musicians of Swiss nationality or who reside in Switzerland for 2 years at least.
